Sensory Friendly Films

Who knew?  I just heard about this.  What a great idea.  This is a few select theaters that have a viewing of certain movies once a month that caters to children that have been diagnosed with Autism.

The following is a quote from the website
"The program provides a special opportunity for families to enjoy their favorite films in a safe and accepting environment. The auditoriums dedicated to the program have their lights up, the sound turned down and audience members are invited to get up and dance, walk, shout or sing!"

The schedule for the next 2 months

  • October 1 - Dolphin Tale
November 5 - Puss in Boots
All shows are at 10:00 am local time.
*Dates and films are subject to change.
